Our annual summer employee outing is more than just an event; it’s a chance to bring together the field and office, celebrate our hard work, and recharge for the exciting projects ahead. Check out the winners of the bocce-golf event after their well-deserved victory! At BOOTS Construction, we always look forward to this time of year when we can come together for a day filled with fun, camaraderie, and a little healthy competition. 

BOOTS recently completed a project for a repeat law firm client, establishing their 42,000 square foot first generation space on the 11th and 12th floors. As the first tenant to occupy the building, their new space features a grand spiral staircase with bent curved glazing, connecting the 11th-floor reception with the 12th-floor café. The design includes various sized conference rooms, mock trial setups, and all glass office fronts, creating an open, naturally lit environment. Built-in millwork packages feature casework, credenzas, bookshelves, and a freestanding reception desk. The project also showcases diverse ceiling types, such as acoustic baffles, 9wood linear, lay-in ceilings, and open-to-structure. Additionally, the project is MEP Cx commissioned, meeting today’s energy conservation codes. Thank you to our great project partners, EUA & Fitzmartin Consulting

BOOTS recently completed the first phase of Colorado Christian Academy’s impressive new school in Englewood, CO. The new facility includes classrooms ranging from pre-K through elementary levels, a cafeteria, a large auditorium, art and science rooms, a chapel, and even a slide connecting the second and first floors. We also transformed a parking lot into a new playground and field. With phase one complete, we are thrilled to announce that BOOTS has begun phase two! This next phase includes a new office, additional classrooms, a fitness studio, an outdoor track, and soccer field. We are dedicated to building an optimal environment for current and future generations of students at Colorado Christian Academy. Mark has been a highlight of our team, bringing wisdom, dedication, and a positive spirt to every project. As Mark sets sail with his wife to explore the Caribbean and Mediterranean, we all wish you smooth seas and sunny skies. “When I came to BOOTS Construction, I was 60 years old. A repeat client, Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, entrusted BOOTS with the construction of their four floor, 104,000 sf office located in a class A high-rise building in downtown Denver. Functioning as the flagship office, this design will serve as the new benchmark for all of Brownstein’s offices nationwide, setting a fresh standard for the legal firm’s workspaces across the country. Key features of the office include a four-story staircase crowned with a cold-rolled steel element, Modernus sliding glass office fronts, a spacious catering area, and a variety of ceiling types including Acoustibuilt and 9Wood. The expansive multipurpose areas are equipped with Skyfold partitions so employees can create smaller and more private meeting spaces. To add a touch of warmth and sophistication, the space is adorned with wood paneling throughout and a custom Opti Myst fireplace in the main reception area. BOOTS partnered with JT Hammett, Savills, and Gillian Hallock Johnson with Anderson Mason Dale Architects to deliver this project.

It's the little things.

Matillion, a software company based in Manchester, England, selected BOOTS to build their new first-generation dual headquarters in Denver, Colorado. Chic, unique, and sleek, their office features extensive millwork, emphasized by a bespoke matched Nstone reception desk and flooring. The double-glazed meeting rooms are equipped with cloaking film for added privacy, while the ceiling has distinctive touches, such as 9Wood perforated wood ceiling panels and Autex acoustic panels. A notable aspect is the incorporation of curved walls and soffits throughout the entire office, eliminating traditional 90-degree angles. The main reception desk and elevator lobby are adorned with Carmen sheer fabric, running parallel and perpendicular to the serpentine lights. Together, BOOTS partnered with Jeanie Neumeyer and Abel Design Group to deliver this beautiful project! 📸 : Kyla Chambers
