Last week, the Colorado Springs Fire Department conducted tower crane fire and rescue safety training at our job site. The CSFD team received this training on the tower crane at The Hunter. Ropes for belaying are connected below the crane and run more than seven stories up to the cab. The firefighters will then be able to assist the crane operator safely to the ground. Thank you to the Colorado Springs Fire Department for keeping our workers and community safe!

Help us welcome our new Facility Services Manager, Ryan Emery! 📣 I am excited to join Bryan Construction as the Facility Services Manager for our Fort Collins Group. I have extensive experience working as a general contractor in locations across Colorado, but most recently, I worked as a project manager in Northern Colorado. Over the course of my career, I have worked on a wide variety of projects, including hospitality, multi-family, tenant finishes, and remodels. I have been in Colorado since 04’ and like to spend most of my free time adventuring with my son! We like to ride ATVs and horses and have recently been spending our weekends boating and fishing at Horsetooth.

Bryan Construction places a high value on continuous training and development. We recently brought together team members from various departments and functions to learn more about their peers' daily work. This type of education not only helps us understand each other's roles better but also fosters a sense of investment in our growth as employee-owners. We learned how our contributions affect each other, the crucial role of clear and open communication across teams, and the value of cross-functional skills in an organization. The more we can understand each other's roles and functions, the better we can be equipped to remove impediments and obstacles, and the better we can create momentum as a cohesive team, feeling connected and valued. We topped off this training with the momentum of zip lining—an opportunity to take a leap of faith with each other and continue working toward achieving shared goals and success. Bryan Construction will continue this training, and we look forward to bringing new team members to the table. Their fresh perspectives and unique skills will enrich our understanding and help us grow together as a stronger, more cohesive team.

We are excited to share that one of our projects with Davis Partnership Architects, The LaVie Institute, has won a Crystal Award in the Health and Wellness category at this year’s ASID Colorado Chapter Crystal Awards! This tenant finish project for a luxury plastic surgery center combined state-of-the-art design with a focus on comfort and care. The first-generation space was designed to showcase high-end finishes throughout, and hints of the building’s original features were kept intact for a modern industrial look with a touch of elegance. We are incredibly proud of this achievement and grateful for the recognition. A huge thank you to everyone involved in bringing this vision to life!

Meet Nate Hazzard, one of our Denver Project Managers! Nate plays a pivotal role on our team, bringing his exceptional communication skills and keen eye for detail to every project. His ability to connect with clients, understand their needs, and keep everyone aligned is a true asset, ensuring that every project meets and exceeds expectations. Nate's dedication to his work and clients is a big part of our team's success. His commitment to understanding and meeting client needs is truly inspiring. On his projects, Nate tries to put himself in the client's shoes to ensure he communicates with them in ways he would appreciate if the roles were reversed. He believes the more the client is updated and in the loop on what's going on around the project site, the better off everyone is. Outside the office, Nate is a true adventurer! His love for the great outdoors is infectious, whether he's conquering 14ers, backpacking, camping, paddle boarding, or skiing. Nate's zest for life extends to his love for music, playing guitar, and attending concerts with friends and family. And when it's time to get competitive, you can find him on the volleyball court, bringing the same enthusiasm he brings to his work. Nate's dedication, skills, and adventurous spirit inspire us all. We're incredibly proud to have him on our team and are excited to see what great things he'll continue to achieve.

We are excited to share that we have been awarded a project with Cargill in Friona, Texas! Cargill is a family-owned company with almost 160 years of experience in agricultural solutions and industrial goods, from meat and eggs to skincare products. This project will include infrastructure work, including constructing a new roadway, a new security station, a maintenance facility, and a trailer washing area. Our team is grateful for the opportunity to work with a new client and looks forward to the kickoff of this project!

Please help us welcome our new Business Development Manager, Whitney Williamson! 📣 I’m a small-town Texas girl raised in the country, where hard work was a part of life. My family and faith are my backbone, and integrity in all endeavors was sewn in early. I love people, and I’ve converted my education and experience in Architecture and Construction to Business Development in Commercial Construction. Over the course of my career, I’ve had the privilege of breaking into specialized DOD construction here in Colorado. With that, I’ve developed a passion for facilitating our Military and their contractors in niche construction needs. Bryan Construction’s reputation as the premier Colorado GC speaks for itself, and I’m excited for the opportunity to join this team!

We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of the Tech Center II renovation project for Sierra Properties in Colorado Springs. This project, which included cosmetic work and modern finishes throughout the lobbies, corridors, elevators, and restrooms, as well as a renovation of the gym and locker room and rehab of the parking lot, stands out for its unique feature-the removal of acoustic ceiling tiles in the gym to create a lofty, open-to-structure look with lots of natural light. Sierra Properties has been choosing Bryan Construction as their construction partner for over 25 years on more than 40 projects. Our team had a fantastic time at the YMCA Stars & Stripes Golf Classic earlier this week! All funds from this tournament support military families, providing everything from scholarships and financial assistance to programs for the families of our nation's fallen. Bryan Construction's President, Brian Burns, serves as the Board Chair for the YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region.
