We are thrilled to welcome our family office and venture fund manager communities together at the upcoming Beyond Summit 2024 later this month! This year, we are joined by Ellevest CIO, Sylvia S. Kwan, CFA, CAIA and Lukas Walton's Builders Asset Management MD, Bruce Hao for a session on values-aligned investing.

Builders Vision has been involved with Ceres, Inc. for many years, and in 2023, we joined two Ceres-sponsored initiatives focused on engagement with public companies to reduce carbon emissions. We will work with Climate Action 100+ and Food Emissions 50 to focus on emissions reduction in the food & agriculture sectors, which currently account for approximately one-third of all global greenhouse gas emissions. Through Climate Action 100+, we’re joining a network of more than 700 investors working together to encourage companies to take action on climate change, including cutting greenhouse gas emissions in half by 2030 and delivering net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 -- keeping with the goals of the Paris Agreement to limit global warming to 1.5°C. Food Emissions 50 is working to engage 50 of the highest-emitting public food companies in North America to improve greenhouse gas emissions disclosures, set meaningful emissions reduction targets, and implement climate transition plans in line with the Paris Agreement. Builders Vision has significant experience in building more sustainable food systems to increase access to healthy food and restore the environment.  With these new partnerships, we are focused on bringing that knowledge to bear in the public markets, where incumbent players can make a significant impact. As we look ahead to 2024, Builders Vision is excited to officially announce our support for the Transition Pathway Initiative (TPI) . We’re proud to join the 145+ asset owners, asset managers, and service providers that are part of this global initiative. The need to shift to a lower carbon economy is becoming more urgent, and investors can play a crucial role in analyzing transition risk and driving progress. TPI helps investors understand the commitments and improvements companies are making by providing academically rigorous, independent, and forward-looking assessments of corporate climate governance and carbon emission reduction efforts. These assessments can be used for a variety of purposes - from shaping portfolio construction to identifying transition leaders and laggards to guiding engagement efforts. TPI assessments are publicly available and free for all to use. Builders Vision believes financial markets can and should benefit society and the environment, and with this partnership we are working towards our goal to be engaged shareholders. As a member of TPI’s Strategic Advisory Committee, we will help guide and support the expansion of TPI assessments across asset classes and geographies and help promote the work of TPI as critical infrastructure within financial markets.
