Sophia Gregoria Hayden Bennett (1868 – 1953): Born in Santiago, Chile, Sophia was the first woman to receive an architecture degree from MIT. She designed the Women’s Building at the 1893 World’s Columbian Exposition in Chicago. Félix Benítez Rexach (1886 – 1975): A civil engineer and architect from Puerto Rico, Felix build the Normandie Hotel.
