Last week, members of our Pensacola team attended the Boo-Bash Designer Purse Bingo event. The Gulf Coast Sexual Assault Program hosts this annual bingo + costume soiree + fundraiser. GCSAP uses the proceeds raised to provide Panhandle-area survivors with the trauma-informed care that they need, free of charge. BI’s own Samantha Sierra, Nichole Colony, MBA., Beth McGraw, and Jennifer Cook joined forces with our partners at Navy Federal for a ROY G BIV-inspired ensemble, plus the addition of some sunshine, a storm cloud, and a pot of gold. 🌈☀️🌧️💰 Cheers to Navy Federal and our BI team for their excellent execution of their group costume design, and congrats to Nichole Colony for winning one of the evening’s designer purses. And thank you to the GCSAP for hosting such a great event for an important cause. We look forward to participating next year.✨ . . . Business Interiors is proud to have been involved in the relocation of Baker Donelson’s Birmingham office earlier this year. One of the city’s largest law firms, Baker Donelson, moved from the Shipt Tower to 1901 Sixth Avenue (formerly known as Regions Harbert Plaza) as part of the company’s initiative to provide updated workspaces for their modern workforce. KPS Group, Inc. was the A+D firm on the project. The BI team was tasked with providing furnishing solutions that fulfilled Baker Donelson’s needs and aligned with KPS’s design intent. The beautiful new office space includes flexible workspaces for hoteling, standard-sized individual offices, and communal areas for teamwork. A large employee lounge is one of several collaborative spaces, featuring comfortable seating and booths with charging outlets, creating a cozy coffee shop ambiance. The project scope covered two floors, 40+ workstations and 60 private offices, as well as various collaboration, breakroom, and meeting spaces. 📸 Chris Luker, Photos 1-8 📸 Richie Hamer, Photo 9 See more of Business Interiors’ work at https://lnkd.in/gPtkbi6H

The 2024 Bundles of Hope Diaper Bank “Stuff the Bus” Diaper Drive was another RECORD-BREAKING success. Thank you to everyone who participated. ❤️ This drive is 100% supported by participation from our industry, with donations coming from industry reps to A+D firms hosting drives at their offices as well as the support of BI employees. Historically a charity drive with only Birmingham donors, this year saw donations coming from Huntsville, Montgomery, and as far south as Pensacola. There are TOO MANY (a good problem to have) to call out all donors specifically, but THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU. ✨ We met and easily beat our 2024 goal of 35,000 items with... • 17,579 Diapers (5,000+ more diapers than 2023!!) • 38,384 Wipes • 516 Hygiene Products GRAND TOTAL: 56,479 Items All donations will be delivered to the Bundles of Hope in the coming weeks, where they will then be distributed to Alabama families in need. Thank you again to everyone who was able to donate.

This month, we recognize and applaud the work of Donde Bibbs, our Distribution | Receiving Manager. Donde is responsible for all things receiving, including scheduling, tracking, assessing freight damage, and much more. If there is furniture arriving at our Birmingham distribution warehouse, Donde has his eyes on it. This is no small feat. We have grown considerably since Donde first started at BI, and we are (thankfully) very busy keeping our Distribution and Installation teams very busy. Donde has been with Business Interiors for twenty-one years this month (happy anniversary, Donde!), and he has seen lots of growth and change, including being involved in each of BI's warehouse moves throughout the years while also maintaining his daily responsibilities. “Donde has always taken his job very seriously. When a problem arises, he does all he can to fix it. He is very dedicated to doing the best job possible!” —Carol Grimes, Client Services | Director “In the twenty plus years of working with Donde, he has always been one of the most even keeled people I know. Since taking on his new role getting the receiving in the system, there have been very few instances of the receiving being backed up like we were having before." —Lee Moody, Distribution | Director Thank you for your dedication to BI's success, Donde! ✨

The BI Huntsville team enjoyed attending the annual IFMA Huntsville recently. This annual—and FREE—event is organized by IFMA, and it highlights and promotes the services and products of chapter sponsors. BI’s Huntsville Client Advisors were all in attendance: Debbie Statum, Pat McNeese, Julie Brown, and Spencer Haddock—collectively known as the 4 Non Non Blondes (shout-out to our early 90’s alt rock fans out there 🎶). Thank you to IFMA Huntsville for hosting, and thank you to all the attendees. ✨
