🚀 The Story of Autonomous AI Society 🏆 This weekend, I had the incredible opportunity to participate in Cal Hacks 11.0 🌉, co-hosted by Fetch.ai and Google and organized by the University of California, Berkeley. I’m thrilled to share that my project, Autonomous AI Society, won the Fetch.ai Challenge. Despite my experience with numerous hackathons, finding a fresh idea felt challenging. Arriving late to the CalHacks Venue, I decided to embrace the opportunity to work solo and explore ideas without pressure. 🌏 I was exploring healthcare and education ideas but nothing clicked. Just as I was about to give up, news of Hurricane Milton in Florida and the rise of AI agentic technology sparked an interesting idea. With Fetch.ai providing a powerful framework for creating AI agents, I decided to simulate an AI society where AI agents were taking autonomous decisions during a disaster and trying to minimize the loss of life. It took 14 hours to build the proof of concept. I showed my first POC to Mark Losey and Sana Wajid CEng MICE FPWI who really liked the idea, that's when I decided to develop more features. How does it work? I developed 5 uAgents using the Fetch.ai framework, with each agent communicating with other agents through messages. The first agent initiates the entire disaster response process, next the distress analyzer agent takes different phone calls, performs distress analysis using Hume AI, identifies calls with highest distress, and decides to dispatch the drone to that caller's location. The next agent performs the drone simulation movement to the target location. Now the human detection agent gets the images from the drone and analyzes them using the Hyperbolic framework provided Llama vision model, to detect the humans and get the description of the image. Using Groq, the highest priority location is identified. Finally, the call rescue agent uses Llama 3.1405B model to make clear instructions for the rescue team and uses Vapi to make phone calls to the rescue team giving them directions and coordinates. I used Deepgram for all voice functions. 🏆 WE WON CALHACKS! I am excited to share that my team and I won the Best Use of Chroma in an AI Application at Cal Hacks (UC Berkeley's Hackathon). The hackathon was an insane experience with over 2000 participants and sleepless nights, and I'm so happy about what Satwik Mallajosyula, Sachin Jain, and I achieved together! ♟️We built Pawn Up, an AI-powered chess training platform designed to revolutionize chess education for beginners and amateurs, making insightful game analysis accessible to everyone. Here are the features that make Pawn Up special: 📊 Analyze: Uses lichess.org API to fetch and analyze users' last 20 games, offering detailed move-by-move insights and interactive heatmaps with context to the whole board. 🧠 Train: With Groq and Meta Llama 3.1, it crafts personalized puzzle sets that help players improve by targeting their specific weaknesses. 🔎 Search: Uses a Chroma-powered vector database with Google Gemini vector embeddings to let users dive into thousands of grandmaster games using natural language prompts. 📂 Upload: Players can upload and search/analyze their own games. 👨💻My Contribution: Analyze Feature and UI - We all implemented one feature each, and I had the opportunity to implement the analyze feature as well as create the entire UI for the project. - The analyze feature includes chat with the chessboard. Users can ask questions like "how does this move benefit me?" and get insightful responses that go beyond just saying a move is good or bad. - Additionally, you can click on any piece at any point in the game to get a heatmap of all possible moves with shades of green (good moves) and red (bad moves). This month, I had the honor of judging hackathons at Columbia DivHacks and Berkeley (Cal Hacks). Witnessing the potential of deep learning, particularly in cybersecurity was inspiring. Projects utilizing models like O1 to address security vulnerabilities and cascading LLM models to emulate chains of thought showcased innovative approaches. A project that really fascinated me was using BERT to detect malicious SQL patterns, proving to be a valuable tool in combating SQL injections. The ingenuity of students, most of whom were in sophomore/junior years was remarkable, and of course kudos to the organisers for their effort in putting this together :) #Hackathons #DeepLearning #Innovation #Cybersecurity #Technology

🌟 Thrilled to share my experience from Cal Hacks 11.0! 🌟 Over the past weekend, I had the incredible opportunity to participate in UC Berkeley’s Cal Hacks, the largest collegiate hackathon in the world in the heart of San Francisco. The energy, creativity, and collaboration were truly inspiring. Pratham Pilli, Pranavi Chaturvedula, Tarun Sanjeev Banala, and I dedicated 40 hours to developing an innovative healthcare solution I'm excited to introduce: RecovARy. RecovARy is an AR-based health-tech solution designed to help stroke patients regain mobility and motor function in an engaging and data-driven way. By turning traditional physical therapy exercises into interactive games, we aim to motivate patients and track their progress more effectively. 💡 RecovARy: Transforming Physical Therapy: Immersive 3D AR Games: In augmented reality, we recreated popular games like Wii Sports Wall Tennis and Fruit Ninja to make physical therapy exercises enjoyable. Real-Time Mobility Tracking: Using AR Spectacles, we captured detailed movement data, such as hand-eye coordination, reaction times, and velocity during gameplay. AI-Driven Recovery Insights: Through AI-powered analysis, the platform assesses each patient's recovery progress, helping therapists monitor improvements in motor function over time and give real-time feedback. I am also proud to announce: 🏅 Our Dual Wins: 🥈  2nd Place - Snap Inc.'s Dream it. Build it Challenge 🥈  2nd Place - Fetch.ai's Agentic Track Prize 🔧 Technical Highlights: AR Spectacles & Lens Studio: RecovARy was developed using Snap Inc.’s AR Spectacles, allowing for hands-free, immersive experiences in the real world. We utilized Snapchat’s Lens Studio to build interactive AR games with physics-based collisions and real-time movement tracking. Fetch.ai Integration: We leveraged Fetch.ai’s platform to perform AI-driven data analysis, ensuring that the mobility metrics collected were processed independently, providing valuable insights into the patient’s rehabilitation journey. Real-Time Data Processing: The AR games captured crucial recovery data points, such as groundstroke speed and reaction time, which were analyzed in real-time to give patients and therapists immediate feedback on performance. These insights were essential in tailoring personalized therapy sessions. I am immensely grateful for the guidance we received from the talented teams at Snap Inc. and Fetch.ai.
