California Water Service (Cal Water) is the largest regulated American water utility west of the Mississippi River and the third-largest in the country. Formed in 1926, the San Jose-based company serves 492,600 customer connections through 23 districts throughout the state. This Friday, we hope you have a reason to celebrate. For us, it’s #InTheFieldFriday, so we’re celebrating our proactive and ongoing work across #CA to provide our customers safe, clean, reliable drinking water. In #Salinas, we’re replacing 3,338 feet of aging water main with 3,764 feet of new main across the city. We’re hard at work in the Mid-Peninsula area to improve water supply reliability and fire protection.
