We teamed up with FICO® and U.S Soccer Foundation to offer a financial education course to our beloved Latino community! 🌟 At the event, around 70 children and 30 parents benefited from this incredible opportunity. Our Community Engagement Team stayed busy over the weekend, attending not one but two back-to-school events in our local communities. We deployed our mobile medical unit, medical providers, research team, and staff members to perform Back 2 School Physicals and hand out school supplies. One team was active in Union County, and the other was stationed in Lincoln County. 🙌 In total, at both events, there were: 1,375 people in attendance 🚶♂️ 200 backpacks donated 🎒 15 back-to-school physicals performed 🩺 17 back-to-school health screenings conducted 📉 We remain committed to the Latino community, and through our collective impact model with strong local community partners, we can continue to equip more families. Thank you to everyone who helped and supported these events.

Discover Hector’s inspiring story! ⚽ At just 12 years old, Hector demonstrated an advanced level of play right from the start of his training, making him a valuable asset to our Camino United Soccer Program. His talent did not go unnoticed, and a scout from Charlotte FC invited him to train with the team’s U12 Academy. 🌟 Since our field opened, we have provided structured drills, hosted soccer training sessions, and offered mentoring, transforming lives on and off the field. We are proud of Hector and all our Camino United players! A big thank you to Sam, our coach, and to Charlotte FC Together, we are fostering a brighter future through sports! 💙👊🏼

Helping Our Community, One Step at a Time On May 25, we organized a block party in a local neighborhood. We served families hot meals, gave them food donations to take home, and had fun family activities. The event featured a bounce house, face painting, music, and games. Our mobile medical unit was also present, where our providers were available to perform health check-ups for the families. Simultaneously, we hosted a soccer clinic in Kannapolis, engaging with 30 families. Each family received food boxes, contributing to a memorable experience for all participants. These events highlight the significant impact of our consistent efforts on the community. Thank you to everyone who was involved, let’s continue to work together to equip more people to live healthy, hopeful, and productive lives. . . . #cltcommunity #neighborhood #healthproviders
