SEE is excited and honored to have Dr. Walter Kimbrough as our 2024 Annual Conference Keynote Speaker! Dr. Kimbrough has been recognized for his research and writings on HBCUs and African American men in college. A proud native of Atlanta and his high school’s salutatorian and student body president, Dr. Walter Kimbrough went on to earn his bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia, his master’s from Miami University in Ohio, and his Ph.D. in higher education from Georgia State University. He has served in numerous leadership positions including as the President at Dillard University and as the Interim Executive Director of Black Men’s Research Institute at Morehouse College. Known by the moniker "The Hip Hop Prez," Dr. Walter Kimbrough is widely recognized for his adroit use of social media. He is a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha, Fraternity Inc and is the author of the book “Black Greek 101: The Culture, Customs and Challenges of Black Fraternities and Sororities.” There is still time to register for the conference and hear from Dr. Kimbrough in-person on Tuesday, September 24 in New Orleans!
