Introducing First Light images from Capella 15! 🚀 On August 16th, we successfully launched our 15th mission, "Dreams Make Good Stories", aboard SpaceX's #Transporter11. This launch placed Capella-15 into polar orbit, enhancing our global SAR coverage for critical applications such as ice monitoring and high-latitude ship traffic observation. This mission is a key milestone, occurring just five days after our "A Sky Full of SARs" mission, further expanding our SAR constellation. 📡 At 11:56 a.m. PT, Falcon 9 lifted off from Vandenberg Space Force Base, deploying 115 satellites, including Capella-15. This mission pays homage to the dream that led to Capella's inception and the stories we tell through our SAR data. The first light SAR imagery from Capella 15 reveals higher-resolution, broader-swath data, setting a new standard in our advanced SAR data-processing capabilities.
