Catalyst 2030 has achieved remarkable success due to the strategic leadership, vision, and hard work of our dynamic community, governing council, operations and finance committee, working groups, collaboration members, and secretariat. Our outgoing chief facilitator, Jeroo Billimoria, has been instrumental in guiding these efforts. Our ability to build a robust membership, foster active participation, and establish successful, long-term partnerships showcases Catalyst 2030's effectiveness in promoting collaboration and amplifying collective impact. We are deeply grateful to Jeroo for her inspiring leadership since Catalyst 2030's founding in 2019. Under her guidance, the movement has expanded from a small group of social entrepreneurs and changemakers to approximately 5,000 social innovators and allies from 140 countries.
About us
We are NGOs, social enterprises, intermediaries, funders and other social change innovators, collaborating in this urgent moment to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We live in a unique era of human progress. Extreme poverty, malnutrition, violence, and infectious disease have plummeted, while life expectancy, literacy rates, and electricity access have soared. Yet, severe inequalities in income, health, education, and representation disadvantage billions around the world. Meanwhile, humanity’s growing ecological footprint is threatening many of the natural systems we all depend on—such as climate, oceans, land, biodiversity, and fresh water—which are nearing irreversible tipping points. These crises often intersect, creating conditions ripe for instability and conflict. We may be the last generation alive that can act to reverse these trends. Catalyst 2030 believes that collective action and bold, new strategies are needed to address the crises of our time. Joining forces with communities, governments, businesses, and others, Catalyst 2030 members are working toward changing systems at all levels. Cumulatively, members have already impacted the lives of millions, often with limited resources. Together, we envision the realisation of the SDGs for all.

⚠️ Control. Lack of trust. An absence of transparency. Founder’s Syndrome can be highly damaging to a social enterprise’s development and culture. 🛠️ Join Skoll Centre Postdoctoral Fellow, Dr Susanna Kislenko, for this webinar on 11th September as she breaks down Founder’s Syndrome – why it occurs, how it manifests and how it can be avoided. 💻 Register with Catalyst 2030, a global network of social innovators and Skoll Centre collaborator. 💸Free to join.
Founder’s syndrome, it’s something no social entrepreneur wants to be associated with, but it’s an easy trap to fall into. So, we need to face it, understand it and be better equipped to avoid it. In this webinar the Elders Council for Social Entrepreneurs welcome Dr. Susanna Kislenko (Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Oxford and Adjunct Research Professor at Carleton University) to share her groundbreaking research on Founder’s Syndrome. Based on over a decade of original research, this webinar will provide a snapshot of Dr. Kislenko’s findings on this phenomenon, focusing on issues related to founder succession, board governance and even the trauma of those coming out of toxic workplaces that are plagued by this issue. Join as they have the hard conversation the sector needs to be having. Register: https://lnkd.in/ePa6m-ey #Founders #FoundersSyndrome #SocialEntrepreneur #succession
