Designed by Sebastian Mariscal Studio, CALA is a mixed-use, intergenerational community located in Somerville, MA. The name is an acronym for its core themes: Community, Architecture, Landscape, and Art. Originally designed by The Architect’s Collaborative (TAB) in 1970, the newly imagined CALA transforms a large precast concrete structure into a resilient, art-filled community. Join CBT President and Senior Principal David Nagahiro AIA, LEED AP and Climate Beacon tomorrow (October 16) for a guided tour and discussion of this innovative and sustainable new space. https://lnkd.in/eBmBBzMa
