Congratulations to Lesley University on the ribbon cutting for Reed and Burnham Halls! We are proud to contribute, with our many partners, to their renaissance.
Over Alumnae/i, Family & Friends Weekend, we celebrated the ribbon cutting for Reed and Burnham Halls, two historic South Campus landmarks. Built in the 1870s, these halls have served generations of students and are now beautifully restored to become vibrant spaces for community connection and student support. This remarkable restoration wouldn’t have been possible without our talented partners, whose expertise has brought these buildings back to life: Shawmut Design and Construction for project management Centerbrook Architects and Planners for visionary architectural design Girard & Co. Engineers, LLC for structural engineering STIMSON for landscape architecture Nitsch Engineering for civil engineering Arup Boston for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, technology, and energy modeling Leavitt Associates for building envelope restoration Cavanaugh Tocci Associates, Inc for audio-visual and acoustic design Lam Partners for interior lighting design Thank you to everyone involved in preserving history while shaping a dynamic future for Lesley. We can’t wait for these spaces to become a hub of campus life for years to come!
