The Bulls Women’s History Month celebrations continue! We hosted an all-girls basketball clinic at The Miracle Center with the support of BMO U.S. An all-female Youth Hoops coaching staff joined Bulls legends Joakim Noah and Randy Brown to lead 35 girls from the Belmont Cragin community through a night of empowerment and fun. In 2023, the Bulls refinished the basketball court at TMC to feature a mural painted by local Latina artist Liz Flores. Since then, the Bulls have hosted three basketball clinics on the court.

¡Vamos los Bulls! This week, the Chicago Bulls hosted our annual Los Bulls game in partnership with United Airlines, celebrating creativity and heritage right here in Chicago. Through our multi-year partnership with Infinity High School, the Bulls and United Airlines have worked to enhance the role of art in education and open doors for students seeking careers in STEAM fields.  In partnership with artist NEZ, 52 students designed three mercado bags, which are traditional Mexican shopping bags that all attending fans received at the Los Bulls game. This year’s engagement with Infinity started in October, as students have received educational programming and mentorship opportunities. A highlight of the program came last night, as the students witnessed the mercado bags firsthand, participated in a pregame panel discussion with the Bulls and United Airlines, and attended a tunnel walk-through with Bulls guard and Chicago-native Talen Horton-Tucker! • Last week, Bulls staff came together for our Mid-Season Town Hall, where we celebrated the wins and hard work that defined the first half of the season. From Derrick Rose Night to Black History Month and beyond, we had the opportunity to reflect on the results and impact we’ve made on and off the court. And to properly recognize our incredible team, we hosted an all-staff celebration after with food, fun, and first place winners! Happy Employee Appreciation Day and a huge thank you to our teammates for their passion and commitment in creating legendary experiences. We appreciate you today and every day.  Together we go further, and we look forward to what’s next! 🔴⚫

  • For girls, by girls. 🏀❤️ On Saturday, March 1, the Bulls kicked off Women’s History Month with the second annual Girls’ Day of Play, fueled by Gatorade. In welcoming over 150 girls from around Chicago, the event promoted increased access to sports and mentors for girls, fostering skill development on and off the court. From the talented speakers to the Bulls and Gatorade teams managing the event, the entire day was designed for girls, by girls. Current and former WNBA players and former college athletes addressed the long-lasting impact of sports and shared what it takes to be a successful athlete. The day also included a Hydration Break & Message, fueled by Gatorade, giving athletes the chance to rest, recharge and learn how proper hydration supports both performance and overall health. The Bulls remain committed to using the power of basketball to empower girls and support their athletic journeys. Stay tuned throughout this month, as we continue to celebrate women for their achievements and contributions in sports and beyond.  For more details on Girls’ Day of Play, visit www.bulls.com.

  • We celebrated Black History Month and the vibrant culture of the Black community at games, in the community and at our offices throughout the month of February. Spearheaded by BOLD (Black Opportunity Leadership Development), one of four Bulls Employee Resource Groups, each initiative was designed to foster community and celebrate Black excellence in and around Chicago. We are proud to continue to recognize the incredible Black staff members who contribute to our organization and create meaningful programming that honors the impact of the Black community in the past, present and future.

  • Last Friday, the Bulls and BMO U.S. hosted the second annual Bulls Business Summit to shine a spotlight on deserving Black- and Brown-owned businesses, organizations and local partners in Chicago. The summit included speakers from this year’s Business Spotlight Series cohort. Since November, the Bulls have devoted each month to empowering these local entrepreneurs and businesses. The program also included sessions on financial resiliency, AI and advertising, structured networking and key learnings from other leaders. One of the highlights of the day was a conversation between Bulls Forward Patrick Williams and Don C., Creative Strategy and Design Advisor for the Bulls. Among other things, Patrick detailed his experience growing up watching his mom run a small business and how her journey encouraged him to give back to the community. During the breaks, businesses also made their pitch to join the Patrick Williams Foundation for future support and networking opportunities. Thank you to all the businesses that joined us! • The Year of the Snake 🐍 This past Tuesday, we hosted a Lunar New Year celebration to as part of our ongoing efforts to support the AAPI community and our diverse fan base. The night’s festivities showcased diverse talent, creativity and art in Chicago. Fans were treated to many exciting performances throughout the night – from a traditional Lion Dance in the atrium to the National Anthem being played on a Chinese zither. In addition, AAPI artists carefully designed everything from in-arena LED graphics to Benny The Bull’s outfit. Beyond the game, the Bulls tapped into other Lunar New Year celebrations happening around the city. On Saturday, the Bulls joined the Global Connections: Lunar New Year festivities at Navy Pier, where appearances from Benny The Bull and the Bucket Boys evoked smiles and cheers from the crowd. These celebrations are underpinned by the Bulls year-round community programming. This season the Bulls partnered with the Chicago Dragons to host a basketball clinic in Chinatown for AAPI youth and supported the Asian Fashion Show to promote the AAPI excellence.
