USIBC, in partnership with the U.S. Commercial Service India, hosted a webinar on Export Controls in the Commercial Space Sector. Jason Chauvin, Senior Engineer, Sensors and Aviation Division at Bureau of Industry and Security-U.S. Department of Commerce, presented on the export control landscape in the United States, with a special focus on the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), which are administered by the Bureau of Industry and Security-U.S. Department of Commerce and regulate the export restrictions of sensitive goods. The discussion was particularly valuable for Indian startups and companies looking to invest in or seek partnerships with U.S. companies and expand the market footprint of their products in India.
