Mentorship, and developing lasting networks are powerful relationships. SEATTLE CENTER hosted a Mentorship Fair, with esteemed panelists from across the City of Seattle Departments. Attendees leaned in as panelists shared candid stories of their career journeys - with pivots, hardships, and extraordinary opportunities along the way. They provided career and interview advice, resume reviews, and words of wisdom that inspired and provided many “aha” examples of resiliency, grit, and perseverance. As shared by an attendee - Such a wonderful event! It was fantastic to hear the career journeys and wisdom from all the panelists. It was so interesting to see how everyone had a different path and how diverse the panelists were. There seemed to be someone to connect to regardless of your position.
