Did you know that under the Colorado Open Records Act (CORA), government agencies are required to provide access to certain municipal records when requested? 🤔 Today, the City of Loveland launched a new use of an existing web-based platform, making it easier for you to request a municipal record, communicate with the City, check the status of your request, and receive your response! NextRequest is an all-in-one platform that the city has been using internally since 2022 to manage municipal open records requests. More info 👉 go.lovgov.org/news-7774 Note: The City Clerk’s Office receives and answers these requests. The process for requesting records through Development Services or the Police Department has not changed.

We're excited to launch our Capital Improvement Project (CIP) webpage today! 🎉 This new platform is designed to keep our community informed and engaged with ongoing and future projects that shape our City, including those related to Public Works, Parks and Recreation, and Water and Power. With this tool, users can easily track project progress, timelines, objectives, departments associated with the project, and contact information, ensuring they stay informed about the development efforts that shape our community. The platform launched with 34 projects. The CIP’s are large-scale, long-term investment projects that enhance or maintain public infrastructure, buildings or other assets. These projects aim to improve the physical infrastructure of a community, organization or institution. Among some of the most popular are the US 34 and Taft Avenue Intersection Improvement project, Willow Bend Neighborhood Park and Natural Area, and the Garfield-Harrison Stormwater Improvement project to name a few. The webpage is your one-stop shop for everything related to Loveland’s long-term infrastructure improvements. 🛠️ Visit lovgov.org/projects to explore and stay informed!
