Honored to Receive the Climatebase Launch Scholarship I’m happy to have been awarded the merit-based Climatebase Launch Scholarship and to be joining Cohort 7 of the Climatebase Fellowship. Having worked and studied in sustainability and climate-related fields for many years, I’ve seen how rapidly new technologies and frameworks emerge. With so many evolving sustainability topics, this is a great opportunity to broaden and update my knowledge while engaging with a community that is actively shaping climate solutions. As I transition into projects beyond research, I’m also looking to build meaningful connections with industry professionals, mentors, and collaborators. At the same time, having been in this space for years, I hope to contribute back to the community by sharing insights and supporting others working on climate projects. Thank you to Evan Hynes and the Climatebase team for this opportunity. Looking forward to connecting, talking and working with others in the cohort. #ClimatebaseFellowshipCohort7 #ClimateTech #CarbonMarkets #UrbanSustainability #AIforClimate #ClimateAction #Sustainability #ClimateInnovation #NetZero #Decarbonization

Experienced Marketing, BD, Communications, and Storytelling Leader / Climatebase Fellow Cohort 7

I’m excited to share that I’ve been accepted into the Climatebase Fellowship program as part of Cohort 7, and I’ve decided to join! Since I relocated back to NY from SF last year, I’ve been on a journey to figure out where I can use my skills and experience to make a more meaningful contribution to the future of the planet. The events of this year alone have underscored the urgent need for climate solutions, and it’s disheartening to watch this administration defund the work even as our cities burn. I feel like I can let this discourage me, or I can look for creative ways to make progress despite the roadblocks. I see this fellowship opportunity as a way to choose the latter - to broaden my knowledge base around climate issues so I can be an active participant in dialogues, meet others with similar ambitions, and collaborate with other fellows on climate-related projects to gain hands-on experience in the space. I hope to find ways to draw on my built environment experience, ultimately transitioning my career into this realm. I'm hopeful that the fellowship will be a great step. I’m excited to see where this journey takes me, and open to the possibilities! Cohort 7 members, feel free to reach out and connect in advance of the fellowship start! @Climatebase #ClimatebaseFellowshipCohort7
