About us
Building on a lifetime of public service, President Clinton established the Clinton Foundation on the simple belief that everyone deserves a chance to succeed, everyone has a responsibility to act, and we all do better when we work together. For more than two decades, those values have energized the Foundation’s efforts to address big challenges, create new opportunities, and make a difference in people’s lives across the United States and around the world. As an operating foundation, our programs and the partnerships we build work to expand economic opportunity, improve public health, confront the climate crisis, and inspire citizen engagement and service. The Foundation also operates the Clinton Presidential Center in Little Rock, which enhances these efforts by providing year-round educational and cultural programming and is home to the Clinton Presidential Library and Museum.

These are the kinds of conversations we need to be having! 👏 Dr. Chelsea Clinton of the Clinton Foundation recently took to the SXSW stage with our President and CEO Nancy Northup to discuss the harsh effect abortion bans have on the entire medical system. Bans are creating health care deserts, pushing doctors out, and defying the will of most Americans—and we cannot let that stand. I’m proud to have led the production of this year's Clinton Foundation Annual Impact Report in collaboration with our talented creative team and my colleagues across the Clinton Global Initiative and Clinton Presidential Center. Together, we are committed to improving people's lives through health equity, climate resilience, humanitarian response, gender equality, economic inclusion, early childhood development, social entrepreneurship training, and much more. It is truly a privilege to help tell the stories of this important work. In these times of great uncertainty and division, I feel especially grateful to work for an organization where our motto is "Putting People First." I hope you take the opportunity to read this report and learn more about the communities we are building and the lives we are uplifting alongside our incredible partners. Thank you to everyone involved in this collective effort! You can view the full report at: https://lnkd.in/esPEbwen

President Bill Clinton: "After 30 years, the CDFI Fund is a success by any standard — creating jobs, making the dream of owning a home or starting a business a reality, and unlocking opportunity in every kind of community." In a new explainer, Clinton Global Initiative's Milan Bhatt and Maeve Curtin lay out what really is a *community development financial institution* and how these organizations support communities across the U.S. — in small towns and rural areas, lower-income neighborhoods in large cities, Native communities, and beyond.
