For the month of November, Colarelli Construction is hosting a food drive to benefit Care and Share Food Bank for Southern Colorado. Not only are CCI employees collecting food and funds to benefit our neighbors in Southern Colorado, but we’ve also added a twist to this drive – we’ve invited several of our subcontractors to engage in a friendly competition. The subcontractor that raises the most will get lunch provided for their office (or jobsite of their choice), not to mention bragging rights!

About us
We are a Commercial Contractor and Construction Manager headquartered in Colorado Springs serving Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, California, Kansas, and Wyoming. We opened our doors in 2003, branding ourselves as a boutique style Construction Manager, targeting under-served projects in Colorado Springs. We offer a variety of services and regularly take on roles such as development partner, general contractor, construction manager, program manager, and design-builder. We are seekers of innovation. We believe that innovation is not separate from company culture. Colarelli Construction is adapting and creating changes in the construction industry. We believe that innovation creates new value for an organization and as we have launched our Innovation Initiative, we aim to deviate from the legacy business and continue to evolve and grow. We strive to ask questions and seek answers. When we find that the answers do not yet exist, we look for a partner to help us find the answer.

CCI is excited to begin work on a downtown tenant improvement project. This week, our project team will perform demolition work, the first step in transforming the space that formerly housed the Springs Orleans Restaurant into the The Mining Exchange Hotel's new Oro Restaurant. When finished, this Italian restaurant will boast a stunning white and oak aesthetic, transforming its interior into an elegant and sophisticated dining area. This fresh color scheme will enhance the dining experience, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that captivates guests from the moment they arrive. #ColoradoSprings #FineDining #ItalianRestaurant Downtown Partnership of Colorado Springs

Work recently began on the Helen Hunt transitional housing project! Colarelli Construction is proud to partner with Catholic Charities of Central Colorado to convert Colorado Springs's defunct Helen Hunt Elementary School (empty since 2016) into 24 multi-family residences. Once finished, these apartments will serve families on the edge of homelessness, who are couch-surfing, living in cars, staying in shelters, or being forced to sleep on the streets. Ultimately, the two-story, 34,000 square-foot former school will offer apartments of various sizes, from studios up to 3-bedroom units with full kitchens in all apartments. ADA-compliant units are also being constructed.

The Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center Foundation held its 18th annual "Jewel Ball" last evening at Mount Princeton Hot Springs Resort. CCI was one of the corporate sponsors of this charity dinner and auction, an event which raised over $80,000 for HRRMC's Delnay Guest House project. Serving as Construction Manager for the Delnay Guest House, CCI is honored to work on this important housing initiative. Once completed, HRRMC's Delnay Guest House will contain ten fully-furnished units. The medical center will offer some units to employees as temporary housing, while they seek permanent homes in the region; four units will be offered as charitable, overnight lodging for patients and their family members who travel to HRMMC for medical services. VP of Operations Christopher White and Executive Assistant and Paralegal Jennifer B. Buckley represented CCI at the fundraiser.

Last month, Colarelli Construction held a groundbreaking ceremony to commence the construction of a church on land that will serve as a Catholic Campus for St. Gianna Beretta Molla Parish. Situated east of Denver, the new church building will enable the faith community to finally worship in a permanent home, approximately seven years after the founding of the parish.
