This is how we #ChangeThings 👏 We recently wrapped up our third of four Career Convos for the year, engaging our job seeking students with employers in the tech space for personalized, one-to-one networking conversations about working in tech. I'm so thrilled to share that Gatheround's 🚨 🤖 🗒 AI Meeting Summary 🚨 🤖 🗒 is live! For the last quarter, we've been internally testing our AI meeting summary built by the brilliant Szu-Yu (Joey) Wang and Brenna Marketello. And it's incredible. It provides a concise (and smart) rundown of all the key points covered in your meetings. This is the latest addition to our post-meeting suite: records, transcripts, event data, and group photos. And now you can use it! There are many things I love about this feature, but the biggest is the impact it has on alignment and outcomes. A whopping 72% of meetings are ineffective, often because people aren’t on the same page before or after they talk. Our AI summary feature generates a source of truth and clear follow-ups. [As a former Facebook #integrity worker, I'm always thinking about the second and third order effects of technology, so I have to give an AI PSA: We’ve worked hard and thought a lot about how to make this AI tool helpful: a net good for improving inclusion, equity, and communication in virtual gatherings. We believe we have succeeded, but we always proceed with caution and recommend anyone using AI tools (in Gatheround or elsewhere) do the same.]

Ever experience “the grid effect”? You probably have, even if you don’t call it by that name.
