This month has been dedicated to our very own Margy Nicholson, Director of Community Services, who announced her retirement earlier this year. On her last day at COMPASS, Community Providers of Adolescent Services Margy would like to share these words with everyone. It is my honor to officially pass the torch to my successor, Louise “Lou” Pacheco, as I resign my position as COMPASS’ Director of Community Services officially on May 31, 2024, after 31 years in the role. I began at COMPASS as a Foster Care Coordinator in February 1985, followed by six years as Clinical Coordinator of the Elementary Program. The faith that COMPASS bestowed on me in those early years allowed me to reach goals I never thought possible, and I will be eternally grateful for the privilege of working for COMPASS. Thanks to all of those with whom I have had the honor to interact over the years - clients, families, fellow staff, and collaterals. You have all played an invaluable role in my journey and left an indelible mark on my heart. With sincere thanks, Margy
