About us

ConsultEcon, Inc. was established in 1991 to provide strategic business advisory and planning services to clients in the fields of visitor attractions and tourism, real estate, and community economic development. ConsultEcon has completed more than 1,000 assignments including: • Strategic Plans: Facilitation of strategic business and action oriented plans to support organizational change. • Business and Master Plans: Development of business plans and master plans for downtowns, waterfronts, parks & recreation, museums, meeting and event centers, performing arts and mixed-use real estate. • Market and Financial Feasibility Studies: Evaluation of the market support for and financial feasibility of public and private land and real estate developments, including mixed use developments and public private partnerships. • Management and Operational Analysis: Evaluation of management and operational aspects of plans, projects and programs. • Project Implementation: Targeted strategies for achieving project and plan implementation. • Development Strategies: Regional, state and citywide development strategies focusing on cultural and recreational programs, tourism, historic preservation, adaptive reuse, economic development, and community revitalization. • Socio-Economic Impact Evaluations: Analysis of the socio-economic impacts associated with project and program implementation. • Organization Strategies: Positioning destinations, facilities and organizations to better address their audiences, respond to market and funding changes, and identify strategies to enhance mission fulfillment. The firm's substantial experience and knowledge of new public and private development helps us to communicate effectively with the client group, project stakeholders and allied professionals. Over 3,000 project reference files provide a vast body of information from which to draw comparable experiences and identify the approaches most effective in project development and management.
