Wow is all I can say about COSE's BIG Summit yesterday! It was a day entirely focused on business connections, inspiring and real stories from our keynotes, and learning from experts on innovative growth strategies. The overall theme of the day was that it is all about people - showing empathy, taking care of your employees, making connections, providing support, and the importance of the small business community investing in one another’s success. Our day started out with a humorous and real conversation with Mike Malley and Bill Malley of Malley's Chocolates and Patrick Conway of Great Lakes Brewing Company on growing and sustaining a family business. Our young entrepreneur programming featuring Brandon E. Chrostowski of EDWINS Leadership & Restaurant Institute, Tina Lattouf Chamoun of Terranean Herbs & Spices, Marvin Montgomery Jr of Kicks n' Cuts LLC, and Jason Therrien of thunder::tech shared stories of starting and growing a thriving business. And our closing panel brought us home with Greater Cleveland successful and impressive businesses unknown to many with Maria Bennett of SPR Therapeutics, Inc., Trina J Bediako of New Horizons Baking Company , and Scott Mueller of Dealer Tire discussing the highs and lows of building and innovating to put Cleveland on the map. And in between all of that, there was tons of networking, resource tables, and workshops presented by experts on business growth. Thank you to my Committee Chairs Marvin Montgomery (The Sales Doctor) and Bonnie Matthew and our entire committee for making it all happen! Paul Federico, Paul F.
