A wonderful way to return to the world of ADR after my several months away. I was honored to participate in Day 2 of the ABA Section of Dispute Resolution's Advance Mediation Institute, representing CPR Dispute Resolution on the provider panel - 'Back to the Future with ADR Providers Leading the Way.' Accurate disclosure of potential conflicts of interest by arbitrators is vital to ensuring the perceived fairness of arbitration proceedings. We are pleased to announce the publication of a new resource, Guidelines for Arbitrator Disclosure (Guidelines), that was developed by CPR members and arbitrators.   This new, first-of-its-kind resource provides arbitrators with clear and practical recommendations for maintaining records to assist in identifying interests and relationships that they may need to disclose and providing guidance in drafting an appropriate written disclosure statement.   The Guidelines were created by the CPR Institute Arbitrator Disclosures Task Force, comprised of CPR members and arbitrators.
