We had so much fun hosting a local homeschool co-op for a field trip here at Crawford! The students explored a real truck, experienced the IMTA’s simulator trailer, and sat in on a presentation about all the different jobs that keep the trucking industry moving. It was a great opportunity to show how it truly takes a team—drivers, dispatch, shop, office, and more—to make it all happen. A big thank you to the Iowa Motor Truck Association for letting us use their awesome simulator trailer. Today, we recognize Gregg Ryan’s 20-year anniversary of owning Crawford Trucking! For two decades, Gregg’s dedication, leadership, and vision have shaped this company and our Crawford family. He goes above and beyond every day, truly caring about every person and aspect of this business. His commitment through both the good times and the challenges has never wavered, and we are incredibly grateful for his leadership. What he does for this company does not go unnoticed. Crawford Named a 2025 TCA Elite Fleet! For the first time ever, the Truckload Carriers Association (TCA) introduced the TCA Elite Fleet and we’re honored to be part of this inaugural group! Abby was in Phoenix to accept this award on behalf of our entire Crawford family. This recognition is a direct reflection of the hard work and dedication of our drivers, office & shop staff, the supportive family members and everyone who makes Crawford a great place to work and drive every day. We’re grateful to TCA and the University of Denver for launching this program to highlight workplaces that prioritize their drivers. But more than anything, we’re proud of our team—the people who show up every day and make Crawford what it is. Here’s to many more successful years with our Crawford family!

Gregg Ryan, was invited to speak at the Great West Leadership Symposium in Omaha as part of a panel on “Evolving Challenges for Safety and Fleet Risk Management.” Speaking to a room full of industry professionals, Gregg shared insight from his own experience and the day-to-day realities of fleet operations. He did a great job representing Crawford and reminding everyone just how important safety is in everything we We’re proud to have a leader who brings both perspective and passion to the table.

Proud of our very own Abby Ryan for being selected as part of the 2025-2026 Elevate Young Leadership class! This program is an incredible opportunity to gain valuable insight, connect with industry peers, and continue making an impact in trucking.
