DEEP and the Connecticut Green Bank have announced the availability of a $46 million pool of state and federal funding to support the deployment of electric school buses (ESBs) and the associated charging infrastructure. The Connecticut Green Bank has partnered with the Connecticut Office of Manufacturing and the Connecticut Sustainable Business Council to launch a year long pilot program, GreenGain, funded through the Manufacturing Innovation Fund. This program will provide training, subject matter expertise, and financial resources to help smaller manufacturing companies in the state integrate energy efficiency, renewable energy, and other technologies and strategies into their operations. We had a great launch event at Legrand, North America and we were able to tour their facility and learn more about their electrical & network infrastructure solutions!
