Today, the most important thing you can do is to take care of yourself and the people around you. Turn off the news, hug your family, take a walk, and be there for one another. If I know one thing from working in this movement, it is this: our movement is resilient. We are strongest when we unite in solidarity, and when we center connection and gratitude in our day-to-day work. We are at our best when we can recognize the victories that will have a deep impact in everyday lives. In Missouri, Arizona, New York, Nevada, Montana, Colorado and Maryland -- there were impactful wins for reproductive rights that should not go unnoticed. Today, we are grateful for the tireless work of every person that contributed to this electoral cycle. That’s why we’re starting a gratitude train to thank the folks that brought their energy, creativity, and work ethic to this fight. My thank you goes to Emily Cavanaugh for the important work mobilizing women at Galvanize USA, to Allison G. at WEPOWER for playing a role in passing critical ballot measures in Missouri, and to Mollie R.
