Today’s DHC service highlight – Excavation Shoring. Every year there are unsupported excavation collapses that could be prevented with the use of a shoring system. OSHA outlines specific requirements for trench safety and excavation support, and often that requires the knowledge and involvement of a professional engineer. While the majority of our work focuses on “site specific” engineering for particular locations, we also design trench safety equipment for the manufacturers of trench shields, hydraulic trench jacks, and slide rail systems.
