Protecting the Pentagon's network against hundreds of millions of cyberattacks every day requires teamwork. That's why our Global Services team recently held its Cyber Awareness Forum at the Pentagon, gathering DOD civilians, military personnel and contractors to discuss safeguarding data, protecting infrastructure and using tactical intelligence to combat cyber threats. United States Air Force Brig. Gen. Michael L. Cornell, DISA Global Services vice director, opened the forum and explained how we are modernizing networks to implement Zero Trust and addressed the growing threat of phishing. Additionally, he emphasized that securing networks isn't just about technology, saying, “At the end of the day, it’s our people who make the difference.” #SecureTheNetDefendTheNation

One of the critical services we offer is technology help desk support for Warfighters. We know that having to call a support line because your technology isn’t working can be a frustrating experience, but what if people didn’t have to call at all? What if we could detect the problem in advance and solve it, perhaps before the end user realized it was happening? That is what we are moving toward, and we are partnering with industry to make it happen, says DISA Chief Technology Officer Steve Wallace.

As a combat support agency, supporting Warfighters isn’t just a part of what we do, it’s the reason why we exist. #SecureTheNetDefendTheNation
