#OurShakti - Our Partnerships Enabling equitable access to quality healthcare can be a gamechanger in accelerating transformation. Towards this, our recently signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bolani Ore Mines (Rourkela Steel Plant(RSP)-SAIL) will go a long way in addressing healthcare challenges. Under this partnership, we will operate a Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) in the remote areas of Bolani mines near Barbil, Odisha with the potential to impact over 30,000 lives over the next 3 years. The MoU was formalized by Mr. Joydev Chattopadhya, CGM (Mines), Bolani Ore Mines, RSP-SAIL, and Mr. Nitin Rathnam Rebba, Senior Program Director, Digital Bharat Collaborative. MMUs are an innovative model through which we deliver essential primary healthcare services including screening, diagnosis, and treatment of common illnesses and non-communicable diseases to underserved communities, and bring affordable care directly to their doorsteps. Through this partnership, Digital Bharat Collaborative (a part of Piramal Foundation) reaffirms our commitment to enhancing access to quality healthcare at the last mile. ACCESS | EMPOWER | TRANSFORM For us, every mother and child matters! In this spirit, we conducted capacity-building training for 178 ASHA workers at the Nagarbera Block Primary Health Centre (BPHC), Assam. The session strengthened their ability to handle high-risk pregnancies (HRP) using our app, Utprerona. We also equipped them with counseling strategies to deepen their understanding of maternal care and ensure safe pregnancy outcomes. Our Xushrukha program enables the early identification and management of HRP cases. Through the Utprerona App, ASHA workers can effectively register, monitor, follow-up on these cases and facilitate timely referrals for specialised care. Digital Bharat Collaborative (a part of Piramal Foundation) empowers frontline workers to play a critical role in enhancing maternal health outcomes at the last mile. Additionally, our 104 SARATHI team in Assam focused on enhancing mental health outcomes of frontline workers. We shared techniques on managing workplace stress and hosted an interactive session led by Counseling Psychologist, Ms. Krishna Rani Deka and Counseling Officer, Ms.Chumpu Devi. Thought provoking insights from Rajasekhar Kaliki, CTO, Digital Bharat Collaborative & Piramal Foundation. Do read and let us know your views on Embracing Incompleteness - The Power of Letting Go in Leadership. Raj, a soft spoken leader, is also a wonderful wordsmith, other than the Tech hat he wears. A compelling extract from his article..."In the last six years, thanks to the unique organizational culture at Piramal Foundation, I've gradually learned the value of letting go. I've become comfortable with "letting a few balls drop" and intentionally leaving some things unfinished. I stopped tracking all unfinished work and instead trusted that if something was truly important, it would surface naturally when the time was right. And here’s the surprise: this shift has brought profound benefits." #digitalbharatcollaborative Piramal Group The Better India Kartik Varma PiramalSchoolOfLeadership Aspirational Bharat Collaborative Manmohan Singh
Is it always necessary to finish everything we start? As leaders, we often feel the pressure to complete every task on our plate. But sometimes, leaving things unfinished can lead to greater creativity, flexibility, and focus on what truly matters. In my latest article, I reflect on my early-career struggles with an obsession for perfection and the need to cross the finish line for every task I undertook. I then explore why embracing incompleteness isn’t a sign of failure, but rather a strategic approach to adapting to changing priorities. I also share insights on how leaders can create a culture that thrives on flexibility. #Leadership #Productivity #Prioritization #GrowthMindset #Coaching #TeamWork #Innovation #MentalHealth

#OurShakti - Our Partnerships We celebrated World Sight Day with the support of our CSR partners, Asian Paints Limited (APL) and SMFG India Credit*. Through engaging awareness sessions, we interacted with over 220 beneficiaries on topics such as eye health, blindness, sight impairment, and other issues. A special shoutout to Dr. K. Gopal Rao, Medical Officer at APL, Patancheru, for sharing his valuable advice: “Avoid watching movies on your cell phone up close or for long periods, as this increases the risk of cataract and glaucoma. After age 50, if you have any concerns about your vision, please visit your nearest government hospital for an eye checkup. And remember to include plenty of green leafy vegetables, carrots, and beetroots in your diet!” Digital Bharat Collaborative (a part of Piramal Foundation) is committed to informing and inspiring citizens to live a healthier life. *SMFG - Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group Piramal Group The Better India #digitalbharatcollaborative #WorldSightDay #partnerships
