Thank you to everyone who came out last Thursday night for our fourth season of DisruptHR Capital Region! We had some OUTSTANDING speakers, wouldn't you agree?! I appreciate all of them for taking the stage and sharing their ideas! Andi CampbellCHRISTINA FARINACCI-ROBERTSAdam C. FeckCasey Jakubowski, PhDKatie BradleyTom SchinMiranda ⭐️ VonFrickenNatasha Welcome M.Ed Many of them are entrepreneurs, too! I encourage you all to look them up and see what they do. You never know when they might be the perfect fit for what you, or your company, needs!! And a HUGE thank you to our sponsors! As I said at the event, it's sometimes easy to overlook a sponsor when there isn't a direct correlation between what they do and what you might need. Again, I encourage people to look them up because you never know....you might meet someone at a dinner party looking for someone just like them. You could be a business matchmaker. 💘 #truelovealways Integra HR, LLC- www.integra-hr.com ADP- www.adp.com Rebutia Consulting- www.rebutiaconsulting.com Groff NetWorks- www.groffnetworks.com Wolf & Heron- www.wolfandheron.com USI Insurance Services- www.usi.com Katie Bradley- www.katiethecoach.com and www.katienavarra.com Mean Max- www.meanmaxbrew.com And to everyone who follows this page, attends the events, and is a supporter of everything that #DisruptHR is doing, it is appreciated very much!! • Rounding out our sponsors for this year’s event is Katie Bradley. As some of you know, I got to hang out with Bella one afternoon. Bella is Katie’s horse. The day was full of sunshine and lightbulb moments. That’s what Katie does! She inspires leaders to reset, reconnect, and reframe to overcome challenges, confidently lead teams, and address burnout, leading to higher performance. She works with high-performing teams by bringing them into the arena where horses provide instantaneous, non-judgmental feedback. This unique and interactive experience allows individuals and teams the space needed to bring clarity to ideas and challenges. As a lifelong horse owner, she has learned as much about communication and leadership traits from horses as she has from training programs, and she is passionate about sharing these transformative experiences with others. In addition to her equine-assisted coaching, she is a content marketing strategist who can elevate your brand, boost your visibility, and increase your bottom line. She spent twenty years as a journalist which has equipped her with expert writing skills, critical thinking abilities, and a high degree of empathy that allows her to speak to your audience’s needs, wants, and challenges. She is also an award-winning writer who has been published in multiple national outlets and has published three books. Katie is also a speaker at our event on Thursday! How lucky are we? You can find Katie and all that she offers businesses at katienavarra.com and katiethecoach.com. I highly recommend hanging out with Bella! Thank you, Katie, for your support and sponsorship! We are days away! Do you have your tickets? https://lnkd.in/eMgPQCyv #DisruptHR #DisruptHRCapitalRegion #horses #equineassistedcoaching

  • Rare is the bird that loves hiring salespeople! A big reason is the difference between a candidate selling during the interview and us knowing if they will deliver on what is being sold, mainly themselves. Adam C. Feck will share the qualities to look for when hiring and how to test for them. He will also highlight that despite the occasional dislike of the practice, everyone can (and does) sell! Adam has 25+ years of experience as an executive focused on business development, operations, coaching, and collaborative leadership. After years of success in the orthopedic operating rooms of NYC and Boston, Adam owned and ran an orthopedic medical device distributorship for 15 years, then grew a SaaS startup from a team of 5 people to 30, followed by an acquisition. In 2023, he launched Forward 46, Inc., a Fractional Sales Management practice where he works with small and medium-sized businesses helping them grow. He has a true passion for helping people and companies identify and move toward their goals. Adam has also volunteered in the fire and EMS service for 15+ years. This also contributes to his drive to always help solve problems, and improve the situation and the community. Come hear Adam speak at next week's DisruptHR. You won't want to miss it! It’s a fact that most organizations have top talent; they are usually labeled rock stars and trailblazers. Companies spend a lot of effort and time recruiting and supporting the continued development of these employees. They are most likely first in line for promotions but should they be? Casey Jakubowski, PhD has a different viewpoint. He thinks companies commit waste far too often because they don't work with who they have. They spend too much time looking for people who are a 100% match to fill their teams or promote. Casey believes leaders need to allow their people to grow by promoting near matches. Utilizing skills that are near what people can do companies can fully realize an employee's potential and positively impact company goals. Casey has a PhD in Policy and Leadership and has taught lessons on leadership, conflict resolution, and growing your team for 25 years. He is a consultant, speaker, author, and startup specialist who works to move you and your team from ok to outstanding. He works hard to develop talent and leadership. He is the founder of Dragontamer.us powered by CTJ Solutions LLC. He is also Lean, Six Sigma, and MBTI certified. Join us on June 6th to hear Casey!
