DRUGSCAN reposted this
This morning, the Senior Leadership Team at DRUGSCAN, Inc. had the pleasure of hearing directly from Sarah Laurel, founder of Savage Sisters Recovery, Inc! Sarah spoke about the current situation in Philadelphia, the recent effort by city officials to remove the unhoused from Kensington, threats from new substances found in the local drug supply, and general challenges with harm-reduction in the area. As usual, Sarah did not disappoint. Her subject matter expertise combined with her candor provided an outstanding opportunity to learn what is happening now and how we can all do more to help. Drugscan presented Sarah with a check for $7,000, bringing the total cash raised by Drugscan for Savage Sisters in just the past 12 months to $16,000! In addition to the cash, Drugscan's employees have donated a truckload of much needed supplies, cold weather gear, coats, wound care products, food and water, and other items needed by SSR. All of us at Drugscan are honored to support this mission and encourage everyone to join us and others support Savage Sisters. Please visit https://lnkd.in/enJKxZ97 to learn how you can contribute. I wish to thank all of the people and companies who have contributed to this effort with Drugscan, especially: USHealthtek and CEO Cristy Reiter, Lighthouse Lab Services, Independent Wiring, Lori Mathes at GBF, Inc., Kathy Petrick at American Solutions, Hogan Lovells and Attorney Ron Wisor, Bruker scientific products, Jaysen Vollertsen at ACM Global Laboratories, and both Wendy R Adams and Gina Cooper at Drugscan. #harmreduction #staysavage #drugscan
