Fantastic Project #TeamKeno. Turned out great!
JOHN KENO & COMPANY, INC. was proud to celebrate as the City of Lake Forest cut the ribbon on our bluff stabilization and new boardwalk project at Forest Park Beach. The beautiful new boardwalk not only enhances our stunning coastline but also plays a vital role in protecting our bluffs, preserving the natural beauty of our community, and granting accessibility to all members of the community. #ForestParkBeach #SustainableFuture #RibbonCutting #CelebrateNature
For the first time ever… and for good reason…we have a DUEL Friday Faces of Dunnet Bay!!! “The Ryans!” Pictured L-R : Ryan Dunne & Ryan Lannon. The Ryans have been killing it on our Kennedy reconstruction project. The numerous compliments we hear about their dedication, professionalism, and overall best in class attitude deserves a shout out. Both Ryans have come a long way from their humble beginnings in the yard to now serving as Superintendents, a testament to their hard work and dedication. They started from the ground up, taking on challenging tasks and learning from the original crew, proving their, shall we say—patience! More recently, Ryan Lannon's participation in the Illinois Road & Transportation Builders Association (IRTBA) Emerging Leadership Program, further underscores his relentless pursuit of learning something new. Thank you, "Ryans", for your commitment to Dunnet Bay. Your efforts are truly appreciated and never go unnoticed.
Crunching numbers & managing budgets are their day jobs… Tiffany Woods, CCIFP & Patricia N. went out to tour the Millstream Rd / Kishwaukee River Bridge Replacement Project! I think we can all agree that observing field operations in real time is priceless. Not only were they both able to learn something new, they can tap into this experience in their regular day to day to better communicate the “lingo” & terms we use on the daily in this industry. Heres to another successful office vs. field —field trip.

Setting Stage 2 bridge girders on the Park Avenue West Bridge in Highland Park today. Really threading a needle with this pick and set. In order to maintain vehicular and pedestrian traffic, Stage 2 is sandwiched between the completed Stage 1 bridge deck and 4”(!) from an existing prefab truss pedestrian bridge, proving that sometimes the smaller bridges can be the most difficult. Great display of teamwork between Dunnet Bay Construction Company and Ciorba Group, Inc. to develop and carry out a plan to make this a successful beam erection for the City of Highland Park. Shout out to Ciorba’s Construction Engineer Edgar Alvarado for doing a great job running the show out there!

We're proud to be providing our expertise to the Kane County Division of Transportation on their Dauberman Road Extension project, which includes the extension of Dauberman Road south to Granart Road. This ambitious endeavor includes the construction of an interchange connecting Dauberman Road to U.S. 30 at a new signalized intersection, as well as improvements to realign Granart Road and reduce congestion on the local highway system. Two new bridge structures will carry Dauberman Road over US Route 30 and the BNSF Railway. These enhancements aim to address future transportation needs and enhance safety, mobility, and system continuity. #transportationandinfrastructure
