As Commercial as Possible, as Military as Necessary
About us
The Army is overhauling how it does sustainment in order to operate at the speed of conflict during the information age. As the United States Army modernizes to compete in the multi-domain battlefield of the future, its Enterprise Business Systems (EBS) must evolve. EBS Convergence aims to deploy an EBS that can support a modern Army in motion using industry best practices and cutting-edge technology. By deploying logistics, financial management and other core business operations in a single solution, EBS Convergence will increase Army readiness and productivity. EBS Convergence is led by a team that was established by the Under Secretary of the Army in June 2020. The members of this team are the Army’s leading minds behind technology, data management, and business operations. They continue to work tirelessly at bringing this vision of a modernized EBS landscape to our Warfighters and Civilians. To do this, they are re-engineering the Army’s business processes, developing an intuitive user interface, applying advanced data analytics, and much more. We invite you to follow us and stay informed as we solve this once in a generation problem!

👥 As part of our people-first guiding principle, this series showcases perspectives on this revolutionary change from Soldiers and Civilians across the Army. Chief’s Corner is your backstage pass to witness transformation in action covering various topics about the Army’s largest business system modernization effort to date! 💼🔄 🎙️In this episode, CW5 Gregory Besaw, EBS-C MFCT Soldier Advocate, is joined by Mr. Mark Colley, a retired Army maintainer and Executive Director for TACOM’s Integrated Logistics Support Center. ILSC manages the full range of sustainment for the Army’s ground equipment, to include fleet management, maintenance and readiness. 💪They discussed the importance of synchronizing data, streamlining processes at all levels of the enterprise and the joint effort between EBS-C and TACOM to better sustain the future fighting force. Mr. Colley explained that EBS-C can revolutionize TACOM’s predictive logistics and precision sustainment by granting “access to the information that allows them to make risk-based decisions now, to prepare for the future.” https://lnkd.in/eQkJR_Mm

Last week, Mr. Joshua Call, as the functional representative, assisted in an update on the final planning for development of the Ammunition Storage Activity value segment, as part of the US Army agenda to the Defense Interest Group (DEIG) in Munich, Germany. Mr. Call joined our PEO Enterprise and Army G4 teammates alongside personnel from the US Army, US Navy, DLA and SAP as well as participating coalition partners. The Army’s continued collaboration with 26 other nations and partners is vital as it works to define and test Disconnected Operations capability and Relocations capability. Thank you, Mr. Call, for carrying the torch for the functional team! #EBSC #USArmy #Modernization #DigitalTransformation #InternationalPartnership #DefenseCollaboration #AgileArmy
COLLABORATION IS KEY Our work continues with the Defense Interest Group (DEIG), collaborating across the services and with international coalition partners to maximize our united commitment to continue our #DigitalTransformation and bring innovative capabilities to our service members. #USArmy | #PEOEnterprise | #DEIG

EBS-C MFCT 2024 AUSA Annual Meeting & Expo attendance Today Ms. Nikki Cabezas, EBS-C MFCT Director (A), and Colonel Matt Price, EBS-C MFCT Executive Officer stepped away from the Pentagon and walked the AUSA expo floor. The primary focus was to engage with commercial partners while also listening to Army Senior Leaders inform industry about upcoming opportunities and Army priorities. AUSA provides the perfect venue to meet face-to-face with our current industry partners and meet those vying for a space in the Army’s ERP modernization environment. Thanks to all those teammates who gave the MFCT leaders time and helped build and expand the relationships necessary to support the EBS-C program!

Last week, Ms. Nikki Cabezas, Director of FIM and Acting Director of EBS-C, participated in a Hispanic Heritage panel discussion, moderated by Col. Denis Fajardo, commander, Red River Army Depot. Ms. Cabezas immigrated to the United States from Ecuador when she was just two years old and is now leading the Army’s largest ever ERP modernization program as a member of the senior executive service. She expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to share her background as well as learn about her teammates’ heritage because diversity of background and thought enables more effective collaboration. Ms. Cabezas stated: “I think it’s important to have different voices at the table and make spaces for those voices…I am a senior leader, and I appreciate when I have someone who says ‘you know, ma’am? I respectfully disagree and here’s why.’ I want someone who is going to have different perspectives, different opinions and I think that’s the beauty of celebrating diversity and making sure you have those various viewpoints.” We could not be more thrilled to continue this journey with Ms. Cabezas at the helm as EBS-C Director (Acting)!
