We ask you to join us and actualize our vision for a better future—a future where poverty is reduced, nature is preserved, and the planet thrives. When people come together to work towards a shared vision for a sustainable and equitable future, everyone benefits. We are all stakeholders in the well-being of our respective landscapes, but we are also stakeholders at the global level in the well-being of our planet. Integrated landscape management is an increasingly popular approach to addressing our planet’s land use, climate change, food security, and water access challenges. But how can we explain the concept to newcomers? This animated explainer captures the core elements of what ILM looks like in practice. #sustainability #ilm #holisticlanduse #landscape #collaboration #ecoagriculture

Join us in celebrating Peru's Model Forest Abancay, one of our 15 Seed Grant Awardees. Congratulations! 🎉 👏 Abancay plans to use the seed grant to strengthen its Model Forest by applying new integrated landscape management tools and strategies to its work. It will work to create landscape alliances, enhance internal governance, and create a landscape action plan. 💥 Their goal is to become a leader in the field and a model for other landscapes. We can't wait to see what they achieve! 🙌 The Model Forest Abancay is participating in our Forest Leaders for Integrated Landscape Management program. We want to extend a special thanks to Natural Resources Canada (NRCan), which made this program possible.
