🌍 EcoDaLLi Partners Engaged in Key Events Across the Danube and Black Sea Regions! 🌊 Our partners have been actively sharing their expertise and promoting nature-based solutions and sustainable blue economy practices in two significant events this October: 🔹 Danube Academies Conference (DAC) | 9-10 October | Belgrade, Serbia Our partner Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad presented "Nature-Based Solutions for the Danube River Basin Ecosystem Restoration" at the Thirteenth DAC. 🌍 This week, two exciting events in Burgas, Bulgaria brought key stakeholders together to shape the future of water restoration in the Danube and Black Sea regions! 🗓️ Monday: We organized, in collaboration with DaWetRest, a workshop with over 30 participants from the whole quadruple helix spectrum, including two Mission Ocean Board members. Our partners presented valuable tools developed within the EcoDaLLi project to support NBS implementation: 🔹 A methodology for NBS in innovative projects 🔹 A best-practice catalogue of NBS along the Danube 🔹 Policy recommendations for supporting NBS The feedback was overwhelmingly positive! 🙌 🗓️ Tuesday: The high-level conference "From the Danube Source to Black Sea – Healthy Waters and Healthy Life" was an impactful event, with our partners representing EcoDaLLi on the panel. 🔹 Key discussions focused on ecosystem restoration in the region, what we need for a resilient Danube and Black Sea and how to join forces to achieve the Mission's objectives. 🔹 One of many highlights was the official endorsement of the Mission Charter by Bulgaria and Romania, committing to restoring the Danube and Black Sea by 2030 🤝 🔍 You can endorse the Charter, too!
