We are reaching new heights in the pines with the erection of a mass timber structure! From a kindling of an idea with our campus stakeholders to the beams of a design with Kirksey Architecture and Ensight Haynes Whaley, LLC we are raising the structure for our very first mass timber project at Stephen F. Austin State University, now a part of The University of Texas System - Dining Hall East. We are excited to collaborate with this team which also includes KDW and R. M. RODGERS, INC. along with Mercer International Inc. and Binkley Construction to raise the axe for the university. "Old Ed" comes back to life as the Geneva Schaeffer Education Building at West Texas A&M University!
