We were happy to support once more The Woodlands Township annual Arbor Day Tree Giveaway, where we answered questions and shared our Right Tree, Right Place message. It's a great reminder to anyone planting trees on their property to help deter outages and safety hazards that can result when trees grow into overhead power lines.

Today, we reached a settlement agreement with parties, including the City of Houston and other regional municipalities, in our 2024 Houston Electric Rate Case. The settlement is expected to result in less revenue annually and a bill reduction for most of our Houston-area electric customers. It also addresses the significant investments we have made to strengthen our system with the ultimate goal of building the most resilient coastal grid in the country. Last Monday evening, after over a week of monitoring and preparation, #WinterStormEnzo hit the Greater Houston area. Fortunately, we saw minimal impact to our system with more than 99% of our customers maintaining normal electric service throughout the duration of the event. Our most recent Learning to Lead class kicked off their leadership journey with a volunteer event at the Houston Food Bank. As a group, they processed 29 pallets weighing just over 17,000 pounds, assembled more than 1,700 disaster boxes and ultimately helped provide more than 14,000 meals, showing how individuals can make an even greater impact as part of a team!

We are so appreciative of #firstresponders like the Houston METRO Police. During the recent winter storm, we arranged for a meal donation of 300 hot meals to show our appreciation. Thanks to all who braved the freezing temperatures to help keep our communities safe. #CommunitySupport
