Team Eisai cycled 25 miles in CARTI’s annual Tour de Rock to support patients and families who have been impacted by cancer in the Arkansas area. This event draws participants from across the southern region and has successfully raised over $2 million to help provide people undergoing treatment with transportation, lodging and comprehensive care including financial, emotional and nutritional counseling. Congratulations to everyone involved! 🚴♂️🚴♀️ #LifeAtEisai

In our latest blog, Dr. Michael Irizarry discusses how Eisai is advancing Alzheimer’s disease (AD) research by exploring biomarkers that may help detect AD early and monitor its progression: https://bit.ly/3WCE5lX With about seven million people in the United States living with AD, and the annual number of new cases of AD and other dementias projected to double by 2050, the need to diagnose early has become increasingly important for the treatment process.

We strive to make a meaningful impact in the community, so our employees have the opportunity to volunteer monthly with the Greater Somerset County YMCA. We're proud to support their Memory Cafés, where individuals and care partners can come together for dementia-friendly events that foster social connection. Eleanor Panico, MEng, PhD, Director, Global Regulatory Affairs, recently taught “Chair Zumba” at one of the Memory Cafés. Reflecting on her experience, she shared, "It's incredibly fulfilling to witness the joy and excitement radiating from everyone when we infuse some music, dancing and smiles into their day." #LifeAtEisai

We are committed to giving our first thoughts to patients and their families. Our partnership with Meal Train® provides an online resource that friends and family of people living with #dementia and #AlzheimersDisease can use to create meals and coordinate delivery. As part of our collaboration, we are raising awareness of a brain-healthy diet. #DYK that nuts, seeds, leafy green vegetables, salmon, avocados and quinoa are foods that may help boost brain health? Read more about how to incorporate these foods into your next Meal Train delivery, or even your own meals: https://bit.ly/3xjxwLu
