When we talk about ethical AI use in behavioral health, one theme that comes up over and over again is the ethical * obligation * to embrace these kinds of tools knowing that they can ultimately help providers deliver better care to more people. As Ashley Newton, CEO of Centerstone’s Research Institute, said during a webinar we recently co-hosted with National Council for Mental Wellbeing, the demand for behavioral healthcare is too great — and there are too few providers — for us to ignore technology that can augment the entire profession to help meet that need.
