What an amazing program 💙💙💙
🌟 Children's Miracle Network Hospital heroes had an unforgettable day on the basketball court, teaming up with La Crosse Central High School alumni and NBA and college stars. And it wasn't just about basketball – siblings joined in too, making it a family affair! 🏀❤️ "We had 19 kiddos, both heroes and their siblings. It's a really great chance for the siblings to get involved, too. Especially a lot of times when we're talking about the complex medical conditions these kids are dealing with. We love to get the whole family together and this is a great chance to do that," said Hospital Specialist Ashley Zivrowski. https://ow.ly/uIlz50SQjnI #Community #FamilyFun #BasketballClinic #HeroesAmongUs Emplify Health

"I learned having a stroke does not define me!" -Stroke survivor Mike No deficit should stop you from getting out to enjoy a summer bike ride, and thanks to generosity of The Bellin Health Foundation and The Bike Hub, stroke survivors are able to borrow recumbent bikes and enjoy a beautiful summer's day on local bike trails. As one participant stated, "I met so many stroke survivors [at this event]! My support group is so amazing!" Amplifying recovery while amplifying passions. That's what we're all about. 💙 Learn more about the monthly bike rides below 👇 https://lnkd.in/gdZD2EnP Bellin Health Gundersen Health System

Lisa's ability to connect with our patients is unparalleled. Some may say it's a superpower. 🦸♀️ Recently, a patient mentioned she was going to be alone on her birthday, as her son had passed away and her daughter lived out of the area. The patient mentioned to Lisa that she would not get to have cake for her birthday, and she would just have her Meals on Wheels. Lisa went out of her way to find when the patient had her Meals on Wheels delivered and before she went to work, she stopped at the ADRC Meals on Wheels center with a gift bag of birthday-themed items and a small cake to be delivered to the patient. She wanted the patient to know that even if she had to be alone on her birthday, that she was thinking of her that day. The patient recently mailed a card to the clinic, thanking her and wrote, "You blew me out of the water! I will never forget; you have a good memory: God bless you! Lisa routinely goes above and beyond, but I feel that this takes the cake!" 💙 To nominate a care team member who made an impact in your life visit our website: https://heyor.ca/Zfgj80

What an inspiring story 💙
For over 25 year, Dr. Kim Lansing has been more than a doctor for one local family -- she "feels like part of the family." From welcoming new babies to supporting them through health ups and downs, she's cared for FIVE generations of the Brown family. "It's truly full circle to care for Scott and his kids and then see those kids grow up and now have children of their own. It's amazing," says Dr. Lansing.
