🌍 Japan's First Synthetic Fuels Demonstration Plant Unveiled 🌍 We are thrilled to announce a major milestone in ENEOS' energy transition journey - the completion of Japan's first demonstration plant capable of producing synthetic fuels from CO2-free hydrogen using green electricity. This pioneering facility in Yokohama will serve as a crucial testing ground for scaling up synthetic fuels production. The construction of this demonstration plant is part of our commitment to realizing a carbon-neutral society while ensuring a stable energy supply. We are actively working towards establishing synthetic fuels production technologies which is expected to contribute to building a carbon- neutral society. As we validate the process, we will ramp up synthetic fuels production for a large vehicle demonstration at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai. This will allow us to accumulate valuable insights for future full-scale implementation. #SyntheticFuels #CarbonNeutral #EnergyTransition #Innovation #ENEOS #Hydrogen This demonstration is conducted as part of Green Innovation Fund Projects of Development of technology for producing fuel using CO2, etc. commissioned by the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO).

Japan, let's get started! Excited to launch our operations in Japan starting in Kyoto. Together with our partner ENEOS, we’re announcing the deployment of Ample Modular Battery Swapping stations in Kyoto, Japan. These stations, which are our first deployment to have two drive-through swapping pods side-by-side, will be utilized by several fleet partners including MK Taxi, the largest taxi fleet in Kyoto and has a strong commitment to advancing electrification.
