We're incredibly pleased to share... the design for the Bronzeville Creative Arts & Tech Hub has been approved by the City Plan Commission of Milwaukee! The stunning multi-use complex features 60 apartments, a black-box theater, and 4 stories of commercial space, a cafe, and amenities for residents of the live-work apartments. Located on the corner of N. Ave and N. 6th st, the building will stand out with its' colors and blocks of white and gray. The vision is to ignite economic growth through the hub of creative entrepreneurship. We are so excited to be apart of the project, follow along for the journey! We were happy to host some of Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design's high school design interns in our office recently and work with them as they explored art and design careers. It was a quick and fun two weeks, and we miss you already interns! We hope to see some of you again next year!

“This is one of the most extraordinarily stunning libraries I have ever seen in my whole life.” The Rockford Public Library is officially open and welcoming all to explore the 66,000 SF of community resources and learning materials, all while soaking in the riverfront view! Only one week till Joe Huberty takes the stage to talk about library space planning once again! Joe will be joined by friend of the Firm, David Vinjamuri and Library Director, Stacy Maisch at the annual ALA Conference in San Diego. They'll be discussing the 'missing patron' and how to ensure spaces cater to potential and existing users. If you're attending the conference, be sure to check them out on Friday, June 28th in Room B at the San Diego Convention Center!

We also had the privilege of attending the groundbreaking for the Promenade, as the architects for the project! We are so excited for this first of its kind for the area project that will not only house a branch of the Brown County Library, but also include multi-family housing for active residents over the age of 55. Ashwaubenon community, be on the lookout for the opening in 2025!

Engberg Anderson's team got a chance to attend the Pre-Grand Opening Gala for the new Rockford Public Library this past week. As with all of our projects, we are incredibly proud of our design, and we are thrilled that we got a chance to see the people of Rockford come out to support the library. We can't wait to see how the library will also support them! If you are local to the Rockford, IL area be sure to check out the new library next month when it officially opens to the public!

Recently, our firm's interior design team once again attended the annual ASID Wisconsin awards, where we won bronze for our renovation of the Waukesha Public Library. Congrats to the members of our design team who worked on this project! We greatly appreciate your hard work and we're thrilled to see your fruits of your labor recognized!
