Here are some of the highlights: 1️⃣ Continued learning and education: We held trainings in motivational interviewing, psychopharmacology, caring for patients with complex problems, and more 2️⃣ Centering culturally competent care: We had a panel on culturally-competent care and had an incredible keynote presentation from the extraordinary Sonya Renee Taylor 3️⃣ Team bonding: Our clinical teams enjoyed bonding dinners, hikes, and trainings on skills for practicing self-care as a provider 4️⃣ Supporting our village: Our team committed to an inclusive onsite (like using hug/handshake/hello and social battery badges) and brainstormed solutions to make the virtual world feel more connected With a mission as important and ambitious as ours, it’s essential to prioritize provider experience, in-person bonding, and ongoing education.
