🖐 Meet one of the first members of the EU Peers community, South East Energy Agency! ☕ Did you know that it takes 0.25 kWh to make a cup of tea? Between 2013 - 2023, South East Energy Agency saved 15,312,966 kWh of energy from residential buildings, enough to make 612,518,640 cups of tea; over half a billion!!! 📌 Where are they from? Kilkenny and Waterford, South East Region, Ireland 🗺 Where do they operate? Regionally, mainly in Kilkenny, Carlow, Waterford and Wexford. 🎂 How old are they? Their one-stop shop was created in 2022/2023. However, they have been delivering domestic energy upgrades using the one-stop shop model since 2018. 👷♀️ How many people work in the team? 4 internally and a support office and marketing team. They also have partnerships with Building Energy Rating assessors, technical advisors, contractors to deliver the projects. 📜 Their legal status? Not for dividends/profit Energy Agency 🏡 Who do they support? Individual private homeowners – fuel poor and non-fuel poor. Vulnerable/low-income tenants. Voluntary housing associations.
