This week the USDA notified the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education that the FY25 Patrick Leahy Farm to School Grant Program and $3.4M in Emergency Food Assistance for MA food banks have been cancelled. During #CivicLearningWeek, Kagan told us that he liked "Investigating History" because the lessons are interactive and fun.  📃🌎 The Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education's freely available Investigating History curriculum provides students like Kagan with high quality, civically relevant social studies learning.

Today at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Secretary Tutwiler was proud to speak on Governor Healey's proposed budget, which continues the progress towards realizing an education system that truly delivers a high-quality, empowering education to every student in Massachusetts.

Thank you to Ellis Early Learning for hosting us for the release of the first report from the Healy-Driscoll Administration's Inter-Agency Early Education and Child Care Task Force. We had a terrific panel moderated by EEC Board Chair Paul Belsito, alongside Task Force Co-Chairs, EOE Secretary Tutwiler, EOED Secretary Hao, and EOLWD Secretary Jones. Building on input from hundreds of educators, parents, directors, advocates, and business leaders across the state, the report identifies over 30 actionable efforts that reinforce the state's commitment to access, affordability, equity and quality in #ChildCare.
