🌟 Time for a wrap up of #FAMES at the CEA-Leti Innovation Days featuring our very first booth, a week ago! 🌟 Our team was extremely enthusiastic about participating in such a great event, which gathered high-level speakers and visitors. 🔹 We had the opportunity to meet researchers, engineers, and industry representatives from various backgrounds to discuss the FAMES Pilot Line and how it will provide access to state-of-the-art technologies. We talked about the #EUChipsAct and the need for the European continent to regain sovereignty in #semiconductors, how FAMES will contribute and enhance the development of innovative technologies based on FD-SOI. 🔹 Many visitors were interested in the sustainability aspect of the FAMES Pilot Line, learning how our technologies (FD-SOI, RF, eNVM, 3D integration, and PMICs) will tackle major environmental issues in the field, addressing both the manufacturing process and the #energy efficiency. 💫 A wonderful start for #FAMES last week at the CEA-Leti Innovation Days! Sébastien Dauvé, CEO of CEA-Leti, announced the project to the attendees, explaining how it would bolster the development of the European #semiconductor ecosystem, in particular thanks to greener advanced technologies such as FD-SOI! This project is a major milestone in the European semiconductor landscape, in line with the #EUChipsAct objectives. 🤝Last week, we proudly launched the #FAMES Pilot Line! 🚀 Hosted by CEA-Leti, coordinator of the project, the FAMES consortium met in real for a successful kick-off meeting. During the event, partners outlined the key working axis for the Pilot Line and solidified the next steps for a smooth start of applications to access the five FAMES technologies 👉 FD-SOI, eNVM, RF, 3D integration, and PMIC. Together with our partners, we are united by a common goal: advancing #semiconductor technology in Europe. We were glad to welcome Sébastien Dauvé (CEO of CEA Leti), the project officer Francisco Ignacio Serradilla from the Chips Joint Undertaking and Pierre Chastanet Head of DG Connect C3 - European Commission, for inspiring talks. 🚀 Today marks the official launch of the #FAMES Pilot Line, with consortium partners gathering at CEA-Leti for the kick-off meeting! Throughout a day filled with in-depth discussions and presentations, our consortium is laying the foundation for the project's successful execution. The FAMES Consortium unites an outstanding group of partners: CEA-Leti (France) as the pilot line coordinator, along with imec (Belgium), Fraunhofer-Mikroelektronik (Germany), Tyndall National Institute (Ireland), VTT (Finland), CEZAMAT WUT (Poland), Université catholique de Louvain (Belgium), Silicon Austria Labs (SAL) (Austria), SINANO Institute (France), Grenoble INP - UGA (France), and the Universidad de Granada (Spain). We are currently paving the way for future users of the FAMES Pilot Line and outlining the upcoming access calls.
