Music and community are the heartbeat of Ferguson Architecture. When our beloved USPS mail carrier (a local legend) asked our studio to compile a "desert island disc" of our must-have tracks, we jumped at the opportunity! The outcome? Well, why don't you listen for yourself - https://lnkd.in/gWAMxvDc We hope you enjoy listening as much as we enjoyed curating!

Get first look at new Reed Elementary design! Reed Elementary will get a redesigned entry that relocates the main entrance and administration offices to provide a secured vestibule and waiting area for visitors. Reed staff and community members formed a Design Advisory Committee (DAC) with Ferguson Architecture and Washington Patriot Construction LLC to develop concepts for the project, including floor plans, interior and exterior designs. Ferguson Architects developed renderings that reflect the team’s vision of the updated entry, including warm colors, an open and inviting main feeling with wood beam panels. The existing Reed entry, built in 1950, does not provide adequate visibility for school staff to safely receive visitors to the school. As part of this project, the school will also receive new cameras, remote intercom systems with video capabilities, and entry-card badge readers and security monitoring systems, ADA, HVAC, plumbing, roofing, lighting and flooring upgrades. The work is scheduled to begin in summer 2025, with the newly remodeled school expected to open its doors in fall 2026. Students will continue to attend school in the existing building until the renovations are complete. This project is funded by the $535 million school construction bond voters passed in 2020. Thank you, Tacoma voters. Follow the construction progress at TPS construction website: https://lnkd.in/gACkkyu5 #BuildingForAchievement #JennieReedJaguars #TPS #ThankYouVoters

This project was a definite labor of love. The folks at CLR are incredible people who do such selfless work. We were so grateful to have had the chance to help them plan for their future growth and be able to serve even more of Pierce County.
Pierce County nonprofit, Comprehensive Life Resources (CLR) has a clear and meaningful mission, making healthcare accessible. Designed to accommodate primary care, dental care, and behavioral health services under one roof, FA teamed with CLR to generate a program that puts care and wellbeing at the forefront. With programming that welcomes guests with natural light and open floor plans, to corridors that seamlessly flow between healthcare service areas, CLR's refreshed Hilltop location is a vital component of fulfilling its community-driven mission.

With autumn on the horizon, we can't help but think back on sweet summer moments. From a FA outing to the Tacoma Rainiers (doubled as an evening at the park AND checking out our studio's work) to the opening of The Puyallup Tribe of Indians new restaurant, Woven, our summer was one to remember!
