Beautiful shades of pink, white, and magenta are appearing throughout the Garden! 🌸🌸🌸 If you enter at the Friend Gate across the street from the Japanese Tea Garden, you'll be greeted by the gorgeous Magnolia 'Vulcan' and it's deep magenta, almost red blooms. 🌹 🌸 The Camellia Garden is the place to be — our oldest individual, an iconic Magnolia campbellii that is more than 100 years old, has breathtaking eye-level saucer-sized blooms and it is surrounded by vibrant camellias coming into bloom too! 💮 Keep looking up this weekend to see more first blooms of the season! Magnolia campbellii 'Strybing White', which towers over the Moon Viewing Garden at 80 feet tall, is one of those special trees. It's first large white blooms are starting open at the top of it's branches, like little twinkling stars! 🗺️ Our Magnificent Magnolia map is here to help guide you on a walk that showcases 20 highlighted magnolias from our collection of over 200 trees - download it on our website at gggp.org/magnolias

It's officially Magnificent Magnolia season! 🌸✨ The first couple trees are already showing off saucer-sized pink blooms! 🌸 Magnolia campbellii in the Camellia Garden, the oldest individual in our Magnolia collection, is a must-see. It's already displaying a couple dozen elegant light pink blooms. Keep an eye on this beautiful tree for more stunning blooms at eye-level! 🌸 Between the Temperate Asia Garden and the Great Meadow, another M. campbellii is brightening up the Garden. This towering tree is easily accessible from the Main Gate entrance. Plan your visit and find magnolia-themed programming at gggp.org/magnolias
